New Silk Road Network’s members Alexander Global Logistics GmbH (AGL) and Columbia Pro-rail Transport Services Limited have successfully collaborated to move a second-hand MDF Plant to the Middle East. AGL shipped approximately 15,000 FRT and 400 containers, of which some weighed up to 100 tons!
The cargo was collected from China, as Columbia Pro-Rail and AGL closely worked together on the pre-carriage. Cargo handling, customs clearance and cargo surveys in China and the destination were conducted by the AGL team. Moreover, they were also responsible for chartering the two vessels to assist transportation.
This project marked the 30th successful shipment of second-hand industrial plants for AGL, which is a very niche sector in logistics. With their successful collaboration with Columbia Pro-Rail Service, we would like to congratulate both our members on supporting each other and helping businesses grow!
