New Silk Road Network’s member InterRail Europe GmbH’s sister company InterRail Kazakhstan LLP, headquartered in Almaty, a subsidiary of InterRail Holding AG, Switzerland, recently converted their sales office in Nur-Sultan into an operational branch last month.
The office is managed by Bekzat Madiyarova, who has been Sales Manager for InterRail Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan since the end of 2018. The company offers both containerized and conventional rail freight services for import, export and transit. Moreover, It has a direct cooperation agreement with the Kazakh Railroad (KTZ). The rail services are supplemented by multimodal solutions and the provision of appropriate rolling stock. This also includes special wagons such as hopper wagons and open-top wagons for bulk goods.
Kazakhstan is an essential bridge between Europe and Asia. Therefore, the expansion of the local network is a logical consequence of the geographic strategy of the InterRail Group, as they take significant steps to establish themselves along the New Silk Road.
