Huettemann Group, a founding member of the New Silk Road Network, has expanded their activities in the Netherlands. Their Dutch subsidiary Rabelink Logistics has recently acquired Gesink Transport. The transfer from the previous owner has been undertaken, as Gesink Transport’s fleet of vehicles and employees are retained. The previous owner will serve on the board for three years to ensure a smooth transition period for customers and employees.

The acquisition of Gesink by Rabelink Logistics will bring in added value for their customers and partners globally. As a Lead Logistics Provider, Rabelink Logistics offers not only transportation but also comprehensive supply chain management, from air and sea freight to warehousing and distribution. The acquisition of Gesink Transport will support them in continuing the development of Huettemann Groups Dutch branch of business. The three years will ensure a smooth transition for employees as Huettemann will accommodate the structures and processes. Mr Köhler states that the customers and employees should barely feel the changes of the takeover.
