On 2 June, New Silk Road Network’s partner Container Terminal JadeWeserPort Wilhelmshaven signed a ground lease agreement with P3, one of the leading developers and long-term owners of logistics real estate in Europe. P3 Logistic Park is planning around 140,000 square meters of logistics space in the JadeWeserPort freight village of Wilhelmshaven.
The project is to be completed in stages by the beginning of 2025. P3 was supported by CBRE Germany in procuring the land. Currently planned is the construction of three logistics halls in JadeWeserPort’s freight village with a total hall area of 122,000 square meters, including almost 11,000 square meters of mezzanine and 7,000 square meters of office space.
Container Terminal JadeWeserPort Wilhelmshaven’s potential customers will be able to benefit from e.g., oversized gates for loading bulky goods, storage facilities for customs goods requiring protection and sustainable energy supply through photovoltaic systems on all roofs. The halls will have a clear height of 12 meters, 17 ground-level gates, and 111 dock levelers.
