In the month of March, New Silk Road Network’s founding member AGL-Agemar transported a wave boat from Sanguinet, in the north of France, to the city of Bodrum in Turkey. The cargo was moved via AGL Agemar’s own tautliner truck and reached the destination in 12 days.

As customs clearance for boats required specific warehouses for handling, AGL-Agemar’s bonded warehouse came in handy with all the facilities to manoeuvre and load the boat. With a heavy weight forklift, this 1200kg boat with a dimension of 6.5 x 2.5 x 2.1 meters was offloaded at the warehouse for temporary storage while being cleared, and then reloaded onto a truck towards Bodrum. AGL-Agemar reports that all operations were conducted smoothly without any hurdles.
