From 21 – 24th Sep, the New Silk Road Network members gathered together in Dubai for the 3rd live event since its launch at the very end of 2019.

The 2022 Annual General Meeting was destined to be a special one, as it was the first purely live event without our famous hybrid set up that graced the meetings floors of our Warsaw and Bremen event. While members from certain parts of the world were still restricted in traveling, almost 40 member companies represented by over 50 people joined us, making the event an intimate yet exciting one.

In sync with the modern upbeat vibes of our network, we chose the hyper lux venue of the W Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah. With a stunning view of the sea and Dubai skyline as backdrop, the networking commenced.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to the usual 1-to-1 meetings, representatives from the members also got on stage for a stimulating discussion panel under the theme of “Transporting Cargo Along the New Silk Road: Current Challenges and New Opportunities”. People from different backgrounds and markets shared their insights, and the audience also contributed by interesting questions and remarks.
