ABL Dissaco, representing Belgium in the New Silk Road Network, is happy to share the successful multimodal transport of a 156-ton agro-industrial Rotary Cooker (Rotativo) from Bilbao, Spain, to western North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), in collaboration with their partners from Spain.

The massive cargo, measuring 2600 x 525 x 550 cm, began its journey under FCA terms in Bilbao, Spain. It was shipped to the port of Antwerp, where it was reloaded from the mother vessel onto a RoRo pontoon. This facilitated further transportation via inland waterways to an unloading facility on the Rhine River.

Upon reaching the unloading facility, the Rotativo was discharged in RoRo mode and delivered by truck to its final destination in the western part of NRW, Germany. The entire operation was completed on time, showcasing the efficiency and expertise of the teams involved.
ABL Dissaco extends its gratitude to its partners for their professional assistance in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of this challenging project.
Well done, team ABL Dissaco!
