Artlog Logistic, a member of the New Silk Road Network from Turkey, recently transported pontoon components from Tianjin, China to Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan. The cargo was delivered by the shipper in China under liner in hook terms from factory to port, from there on Artlog Logistic took over.
The cargo arrived in Tianjin Port in 21 different parts of varying sizes, the largest being the main hull measuring 21.2 x 3.6 x 3.1 meters and weighing 92.5. The total cargo weight was 361.5 tons, with a total volume of 1,442.89 cubic meters.

To ensure the safety of the shipment, Artlog implemented lashing and securing techniques and utilized dunnage to prevent components shifting during transport. The cargo was then transported to the Port of Haydarpaşa, Turkey via a multipurpose vessel chartered from Cosco Shipping Lines, unloaded, and subsequently transloaded onto a chartered sea-river vessel before reaching its destination in Turkmenbashi International Seaport. Apart from booking in the charter vessels, Artlog also oversaw the transloading operations, which included the hiring of cranes and trailers in Haydarpaşa, the temporary storage, transit customs and port handling. Despite the complexity of the project, Artlog executed the delivery promptly, showcasing their expertise in the project field and their know-how along the Silk Road Middle Corridor.
