New Silk Road Network’s Romanian member Dream Cargo Services recently became the owner of a new warehouse on the outskirts of Bucharest, Romania. The warehouse covers roughly 5600 square meters, with 4500 pallet locations and 600 square meters of office space. Thanks to its close proximity to Bucharest and the main highway, access is very easy and convenient for trucks.
Dream Cargo’s new warehouse is a new building type A warehouse and is populated with new racks and the most modern handling equipment. It can accommodate all kinds of products except dangerous goods. Currently, a wide range of items, from electronics to wooden floors and clothing items are stored there.
Dream Cargo’s Sales Manager Florin Carmaciu states that: “The decision to move to a bigger warehouse was made to increase our capacity to provide a full range of services for our customers. We are focusing more and more on fulfilment, and we already have customers to which we provide the supply leg from overseas and store the goods in our warehouse while getting them ready for delivery to the final customers. The next step will be to provide acquisition service, so basically to buy the goods in the name of our customers and complete the whole supply chain as described earlier. This is the third time we have moved warehouses in the last 3 years, so we place a lot of faith in our logistical capabilities.”
Dream Cargo's brand-new warehouse is a testament to its rising capabilities. We wish them the very best in the next steps as they venture into the trading side of business!
