GCD Glomb Container Dienst GmbH, a member of New Silk Road Network, has successfully transported a 29-tonne plant part for an offshore drilling platform using a 3-axle truck and a 3-axle semi-low trailer. The heavy load was safely moved from the seaport of Bremerhaven to the Dutch border, accompanied by GCD Glomb Container Dienst 's own escort vehicle.
The transportation was part of GCD Glomb Container Dienst’s comprehensive project logistics service, which included unloading the flat rack, obtaining official permits, and ensuring safe delivery to the recipient. The cargo, measuring 640 cm x 200 cm x 261 cm, is intended for one of the world's leading suppliers of customized systems for oil, gas, and geothermal drilling, as well as oil field equipment.

The transport faced significant challenges due to the weight and minimal contact surface of the unpacked system part. Special equipment was necessary, requiring official approval. GCD Glomb Container Dienst’s managed the entire process, from the seaport shunting of the flat rack to the packing station, unpacking, and onward transport to the consignee.
GCD Glomb Dienst GmbH remains ready to support clients with special logistical challenges and can be reached at spezialtransport@glomb.com. Very well-done team GCD Glomb Container Dienst!
