InterMax Logistics Solution Transports Veterinary Medicines from Germany to China via the China Railway Express

New Silk Road Network member from China, InterMax Logistics Solution Ltd., has achieved a ground-breaking milestone in cold chain logistics by successfully transporting a shipment of veterinary medicine from Duisburg, Germany, to Chongqing by rail. The shipment marks the first time that veterinary medicine has been imported to Chongqing by rail, and the entire journey was completed in just 20 days.

Given the special temperature control requirements for veterinary medicine, the shipment was carried in InterMax Logistics Solutions' own 45’ reefer containers equipped with refrigeration facilities. The temperature was continuously monitored using a 24/7 smart control tower to ensure that the products were kept within the required temperature range throughout the journey.

The success of the shipment is a testament to the effectiveness of the China Railway Express in shortening the delivery time between China and Europe, thereby boosting the cold chain transportation of pharmaceutical products. InterMax, with over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics, has taken 90% of the import and export market for pharmaceutical products by CR Express in China. In 2021 alone, the company delivered 3500 pharma containers by rail.

This milestone achievement is expected to pave the way for more efficient and cost-effective transportation of medicines and other temperature-sensitive products in the future.
