GCD Glomb Container Dienst GmbH, a member of the New Silk Road Network representing Germany, has recently transported a 40 ft. high cube container, weighing 7.5 tons, which was unloaded using a sideloader.
The journey of the cargo began in Hamburg, where the container was picked up by one of GCD Glomb Container Dienst’s sideloaders. The cargo included parts of a milling machine for a manufacturer of milling and grinding machinery.

Using a sideloader allowed the container to be unloaded without the need for a ramp or crane, as it could be lowered directly to the ground. The sideloader's capabilities also included stacking containers one block high and transferring them between different trailers or modes of transport. These features were ideal for meeting the client's specific request to unload the container at ground level.
